January has been huge for Pathfinder so far, but the excitement isn't over yet.  With SIA in Denver and Winter X-games XV in Aspen on the schedule, look for plenty of updates coming soon!

In the mean time, check out what Pathfinder mobile team rider Corey Snyder has been researching in Colorado:

So this last year saw some pretty awesome improvements to the DC Boot lineup. All of the boots got a makeover and were slimmed down, made more comfortable, and were based around 1:1 last to liner ratios improving the fit. The three main boots that you saw this in were the Judge, the Park Boot, and the introduction of a new boot called the Ceptor.

The Judge has been an industry standard for years being one of the first double Boa boots to fit and give proper adjustment where you need it.

The Park Boot has also been around for years, but it really wasn't until this year that it got a complete make-over. The biggest thing with the Park Boot is the use of a new liner that drastically improves the amount of mobility you have while in the boot.

The liner was cut down to the size of a small bootie that looks like a low top shoe. This liner is pretty different and follows a trend with some others in the industry to give to rider a looser feel when in the park or just cruising around the mountain.

The Ceptor on the other hand gives the rider a much stiffer feel and is the perfect boot for all mountain park riding. Where as the Judge may be too stiff for some and the Park Boot can be too soft, the Ceptor is just right. This boot does everything really well, and it has a great flex point. The best part about the Ceptor though is the amount of comfort it has. The new Unilite Outsole, Outlast Liner, and the introduction of a new liner and boot combo that actually breaths out through the two layers in a technology called AeroTech.

So last week there was some bad news in the Euro Snowboarding scene when Eero Ettala re-injured his knee. He went under the knife to get it repaired, but even though he is out of commission, his crew is still getting it done. Check out this edit with DC pro Lauri as they keep the scene alive!

The DangerZone crew brings us back to Snowboarding's roots.  I think I saw one of my old boards from the early 90's in there. Brohomie, Keep Rippin that gnarly pow...

"Tribute to when boarders were just boarders! Fast Boarding, Sorel Boots, Cold Beers, Best Bros, Hot Babes, Insane Tweaks, and Terrible Fish Eyes!"

Came across this video from  I Heart Snowboarding Productions. It does a really good job of showing off how good riders from the East Coast really are. Also look for several of the 2010 Motown Throwdown riders...they're in there.

Check out this new edit from one of Pathfinder's newest editions, Never Summer. These boards really are something special, with their cutting edge Rocker and Camber design. Made everyone realize that Rocker and Camber can exist in perfect harmony.

Thought this looked amazing, but to all you kids out there, don't go getting any ideas. These fellas are trained professionals.

Man as much as I love my Lib Tech, I dunno about this one...but if some kid catches Travis Rice riding one I'm sure everybody will want one.

So I know that you all probably don't have 15 minutes of free time to sit here and watch this whole movie...what's that you say...oh wait you do? Well sweet, because this is probably one of the most influential and exciting things  I've watched recently. If this doesn't make you want to snowboard more and be more positive while doing so, than you got something wrong with you. Just listen to Todd, the guy's a legend.

After scouring the intraweb I stumbled upon Oakley team rider Eero Ettala's video blog on Vimeo. Here's a little taste of what it has to offer.
